This memorial website was created in the memory of my mother, Deanna Lee (Penny) Wood who was born in Lansing Michigan on February 6, 1940 and passed away in Tucson, Arizona on November 7, 2004 at the age of 64. She succumbed to cancer that took her life swiftly. She was diagnosed the end of August, 2004. She spent her final days at the Carondelet Hospice Facility where she passed quietly into that dark night, at 1:50 a.m.
Blessed are those who considered her friend. Blessed was I who called her Mother.

Her legacy

The passing of Don Rase
The man who I fondly called "Dad" was my mother's boyfriend until her death in 2004. It is with a saddened heart that I place his memory along with my mother's. Donald J. Rase passed away on July 10, 2006 from a heart attack. I never got to say goodbye.
